All the most striking monuments are reachable by a walk through the alleys, where by day the sun reflects the whiteness of Lecce stone and by night the moon peeks out between capitals and rose windows of palaces and churches.

In Lecce you can choose whether to spend your days at the beach, visiting the main tourist destinations of the Adriatic and Ionian areas: Alimini and Otranto lakes, or you prefer to relax on the large beaches and visit one of the most beautiful villages of Italy - Gallipoli, and on Punta della Suina you can have the aperitif on the beach waiting for the sunset.

For landscape lovers we reccommend a coast to coast from Adriatic to Ionian sea.

Monuments

The whiteness of Lecce stone that reflects the sun's rays makes the atmosphere in the alleys of the historic center of Lecce full of mistery and enchantment.

The path that leads from Piazza Sant'Oronzo, the square dedicated to the patron saint of Lecce, to the Cathedral, will give you the opportunity to admire the authentic Lecce Baroque. It's characterised by Corintian capitals where the acanthus leaves intewine with the typical cherubs present in the architraves of the facades of churches or between the columns of anciant buildings. Cuisine

The Salento culinary tradition is made up of dishes made with typical local products from the sea and the land. You'll be surprised by incredible nuances of the tomatos patiantely harvested by the hands of local farmers, or by the scent of freshly cought fish.

The colors of the vegetables give life to rich side dishes for meat or impressive first courses served on table laden with typical products of the paesant or seafaring culture.

Cuisine

La tradizione culinaria salentina è fatta di pietanze realizzate con i prodotti tipici locali provenienti dal mare e dalla terra. Verrete sorpresi dalle incredibili sfumature dei pomodori raccolti pazientemente dalle mani dei contadini locali, o dal profumo del pesce appena pescato. I colori degli ortaggi che danno vita a ricchi contorni per la carne o a imponenti primi serviti su tavole imbandite di prodotti tipici della cultura contadina o marinaresca.

Beaches

The central location of our B&B will let you reach the main beaches of Salento in less than half an hour by car or by the shuttle that will take you to the seaside at regular intervals. For lovers of cliffs and breathtaking landscapes, we reccommend the beaches and natural pools of the Adriatic Sea. Instead, for lovers of sunsets and aperitifs, we reccommend the sandy beaches of the Ionian side.
